Hey, so I am a stay at home dad and have been now for a few years. If truth be told I'm starting to struggle. As a SAHP I've been trying to find other people nearby to hang out with and do playdates. So far I have been pretty unsuccessful.

There are no apps to help dads meet other parents or stay at home mums meaning I spend most of my days alone with the children. I don't know what I really hope to get from this post. I just think I had to say it

I have looked at a few but I get on with women much more then I do men. I know there's the peanut app but as a male I'm not allowed to have an account on it.

Ok, but connecting through other more experienced SAHDs will give you insight into playgroups with both SAHDs and mums that get along with SAHDs. My DH was a SAHD and there were no dad-only groups, but connecting with other SAHDs let him know where he was welcome and where women were comfortable there being men (dads) also present as many women are not comfortable say, breastfeeding, when another man is around and so prefer mum only groups. You don’t want to go where you’d make mums uncomfortable. You want to know where the mums are that are more than happy to include dads.
