How to earn with children at home

Hi all, first time posting so hopefully I have started this thread in the right place.
So financially myself and husband are struggling. What usually happens when times get tough is I will take a night shift role to work around the kids. It will just be an agency role and doing whatever job is available to catch up financially and get ahead of things.
I can't do that this time around and not sure when I will be able to as I am currently on the long road of trying to get an autism diagnosis for my child. My child has regressed massively and has a new school plan which currently doesn't involve much school. She might do an hour, maybe 2 or nothing at all.
She is a great kid but needs a lot of time/attention so with her home most of the time I can't take on a night shift as I wouldn't be able to sleep.
I feel like I've spent forever online looking at 'work from home jobs', 'make money online' etc. but I am at a loss. I suppose I'm just hoping someone here may have advice I haven't thought about.

You really can't work with children at home. No employer would allow this. So the options would be your own business to fit in when you have time (do you have particular skills?), or childminder, dog walker etc?

I know this is a slightly older thread but I thought it might help someone.

I'm an eBay reseller, I buy things from charity shops or car boot sales and list them on eBay and vinted for a profit. I work around naps with my 6 month old or when she's in bed and what you earn can vary with the time you're putting in. There's loads of videos on YouTube to help.

I'm a stay at home mam but there's no way we'd manage with the cost of living without me bringing in some kind of wage.

Hope that helps
