Overbearing in-laws

Live with the in-laws as a SAHM. They are very generous and love DS however I’m struggling a bit with them being overbearing, needing to know where I’m going and constantly asking what I’m doing and going to do with him etc.
I get it’s not malicious it’s just a little too much sometimes and would prefer some privacy! Unfortunately moving out not feasible for a few months, but is a priority! Just looking for tips on coping til then

I think its a good idea to sit down and talk to them about how you feel, are their questions making you feel judged, for example. You aren't going to get privacy unfortunately when under the same roof, and the what are you doing, where are you going might just be thought of by some as normal conversation. Keep smiling and focus on the end game!

Are they being overbearing or are they just making conversation? I think it's fairly normal to enquire "what are you up to today then?" over breakfast with someone you live with.

Is the living together going to be a long term thing?
