Hey, just wondered when your partners take annual leave during the year? We haven't quite perfected this. My daughter is 3 and I'm a SAHM, I'm 26 weeks pregnant. My daughter goes to preschool during term time.
We've tried to "maximise" my husbands holidays by extending the bank holiday weeks, but the rest of the year felt long without those extra long weekends. Last year we tried spreading them out of the school holidays and doing a week in each except one but it never felt like he had a good chunk of time off just taking 1 week blocks.
Has anyone found a magic formula? He gets 5 weeks plus bank holidays, just standard holiday allowance I believe. His holiday year starts January! Next year he'll have an extra 2 weeks paternity but that won't be the norm obviously.
