Hi, my LO is 2 we have 4 weeks off together and as a si gle parent in the cold and fairly broke I thought we could share indoor activities to make the days a bit easier save me going insane. I'm stuck on doing the same things everyday but this is my list

• making scenic pictures on coloured paper (green for farm, blue for sea, black fireworks etc and adding stickers and glitter glue) engaging and takes up time
•felt activty books
•silly animal actions
•making pretty paper baubles, christmas trees
•magic sand or playdoug in a box /tray with a themed backdrop (i print off a sea picture off google for example to add vocab and interest) and then add relevant figures, toys, colours
•act out a story, sometimes I use his happyland church and use the figures to do the story it goes down very well
•sorting small toys like cars and figures by colour
•teddybear circle teaparty

My 2yr old loves masking tape. We buy the boring standard colour but it comes in a variety of colours. She can tear it (or cut with scissors if we are right there) and stick it wherever she likes. It peels off so easily and keeps her amused for a while
