SAHP New to mumsnet

I’m a SAHP and have been reading the various threads on mumsnet for a while but only just decided to join. It seems like a great community and I would like to get more involved and maybe/hopefully make some mumsnet friends. Just wanted to say hi! Please feel free to introduce yourself :)

Hello, I have been a SAHM for 15 years both children are now teenagers.

If you time dive into Mumsnet Classics where the best of the best go. Be prepared to lose some serious hours to it and you may cry your eyes out at some. But completely worth it.

AIBU is brutal, absolutely brutal, so best to post in chat or relationships or legal or any other boards for feedback on anything.

And welcome, it is a mad, weird and wonderful place!

Ah that is a long time! You must be a whizz at it by now. I’ve been a SAHP for nearly 4 years now. Think I have got most of it down haha.

Hi I’ve been at it for 12 years now. It’s been great, hard at times, amazing at times, so glad I made the choice to be a SAHP.
