I have a 2 kids under 3. Moved recently to a new town due to my husbands work. I don't have any real friends here and I'm finding it tough. I go to lots of toddler groups and have chit chat with lots of other parents but it kinda stops there. All the wee groups stopped for the school holidays recent so I asked around to see if anyone wanted to meet at the park, or soft play at some point. I feel I got looked at like I had horns on my head! 🙈 How do people make friends in their 30's?! I'm honestly contemplating going back to work part time, to a job I don't particularly enjoy just because I'm lonely. There's no massive financial gain to me working but I feel like my mental health is deteriorating since I moved.
