To go out to work.

I just started thinking about the great time we are having during the holidays and have recently agreed to become a business manager for dh, but working from home when I please and school holidays free.

All the money in the world wouldn't have encouraged me to get a job. Obviously if we were destitute and needed it then I would have done. However, even when we struggled it was a no brainer.

Am I the only one who thinks like this? Would you go to work if offered a six figure salary? What would be the price?

I wouldn't go to work for a six figure salary. Or any salary for that matter (with the obvious proviso that we weren't desperate for the money). My dc are still only tiny though , 19 months and 13 days, maybe I'Pl feel differently in a few months! I have always wanted to be at home with them whilst they're little and intend to work around them when they go to school. More money would be nice but as long as we can live on dps salary this would always be my choice.

Yes to 6 fig salary as then dh could sah. We used to earn roughly the same and then I messed up my career by sah-ing. No regrets, but dh enjoys his work much less than he used to. I'm not that attached to being the one at home, just to our kids having a sahp.
