SAHP and birthdays

Does anyone manage to do anything special on birthdays?...feels like the kids are being extra specially whingey for the occasion

Its my birthday soon and I'm getting some time off. I'm pregnant and intend to spend the day sat on the sofa sewing whilst dp takes ds out. I'm trying to convince dp that the best way for him to spend his birthday is also a bit of one on one time with ds!!!
