Hi everyone 👋
I’m considering a move to Turvey and wanted to ask what it’s really like living here day to day?
I’m 38, with a little girl who’s 3, and a couple of dogs 🐾 My partner works away a lot, so it’s usually just us, which makes community really important to me. I’d love to hear how welcoming the area is, especially for families, and whether it’s easy to make friends and feel part of village life.
Do the pre school have events going on? Is there village events during spring/summer time
Any tips on groups, activities, dog walks, nurseries, coffee spots, or just general advice would be so appreciated. Thank you!

I lived there for 20 years! If you join the Turvey Facebook page it has a wealth of information on events etc. It is only a very small village but a very tight knit community. There is 2 pubs, 2 tiny shops and a very good butchers. There is a pre-school and primary school but moving up to the Senior school is around 8 miles away. I was very happy there.
