Hi 👋 We're looking to potentially move down to Oxfordshire in the Spring from Birmingham. My husband has a new job in Windsor and, although it looks like he will only need to be in the office 2 days a week, we would like to be closer to his work to make commuting easier. We have twin 7 year old girls so would need decent (state) primary schools initially. In terms of secondary schools, DH is keen on Wallingford, Didcot Girls, Bartholomew and Burford, so we'd want to be in catchment for one of those. I've seen some places I like the look of but would really appreciate some local knowledge! So far, I've loved the look of Shipton-Under-Wychwood, Long Hanborough, possibly Stanton Harcourt and some of the villages around Wallingford and Didcot. We'd also be happy to live in Wallingford but I think budget will probably rule us out of that after looking on Rightmove.
Any local knowledge of what these places are like/where to avoid etc would be really appreciated!
