Areas/general opinions of Haywards Heath? We have a 6 month old

Hi all,

We have a 6 month old and are looking to relocate from South London to Sussex. Haywards Heath seems like a good possibility - good train links for commuting to London for work, nice parks and affordable houses. We have looked at and liked Lindfield but decided we needed to be closer to the station as we don't want to drive every day. Does anyone know any nice areas or areas to avoid that are walking distance to the train station? We have seen a nice house on College Road, anything we should know about this road or area?

Many thanks in advance!

Also I should have said if anyone knows any reason this area wouldn't be suitable for a young(ish) family please let me know! I am trying to be realistic, lots of places have their bad sides and we can't afford to live somewhere 'perfect' but any major red flags to Haywards Heath in general or College Road?
