For as long as I can remember i have wanted to move to a nicer part of the country I love the look of Devon. Me and my husband have to sons, and now is not a good time as I have two years to complete my masters which my work are funding. But just wandered other mums experiences of relocating? Was it difficult to make friends, did your children cope ok? All this is going on in my head I don't want to move and regret it but equally don't want to regret not pursuing it!

I have experience relocating as a child and it helped me gain diverse knowledge about other families and norms. I'm planning to relocate soon too, but to other countries.

You tend to make friends through your children, at the school gates or at playgroups, nursery etc. The only thing is that in the new place, all your friends are parents of children of a similar age. You haven't said how old your kids are, but generally the younger they are, the easier it is for them to settle in. I moved schools a few times between the ages of 4 and 9 and I never had any issues with it.
