We're thinking of moving to a new build just going up, quite rural just outside Stourbridge. The property we have in mind is right by the underground pumping station for the development. Does anyone have any advice about living near one- smell, noise, future saleability of the house? Thanks

Some are silent some start with a clatter when the pumps kick in. Some smell more than others but generally if the water company keep the covers greased it shouldn't be an issue.
