In a word yes!
Shrewsbury is a lovely town, good schools, lots going on for baby, children & teens, nice big park in the centre (The Quarry). You have lovely countryside on your doorstep but only an hour from Birmingham. We have 4 aged from 1 to 17 yrs and all very happy here. Downside dependant on the kind of work you do you may need to commute to find work.

Thanks for getting back to me,
My husband commutes for work anyway so we don't think it should be too much of an issue, Im a stay at home Mummy for now, I have four too, 2 of them currently in primary school which would mean moving them, Did you move there? Or were you brought up there? just wondered what the locals would be like with "outsiders"
