Any retired teachers become OfSTED inspectors after retiring?

I am a Headteacher and I am retiring in August. I will have been in education for 40 years and have spent the last 19 as a Headteacher - I plan to take a year out to go travelling and do what I want to do but I’ve considered the prospect of becoming an OFSTED inspector on a freelance basis - not that I need the money but more the case of something else to do in my spare time.

What are people’s experiences of doing it?

My neighbour - 30 years as a head - was planning to do this, but found he had such a full life in retirement that he didn’t. I have never heard the older Ofsted inspectors I know use the word retired, more likely to position the change as a new challenge etc.
