I never gave this a second thought but it turns out maybe we are weird...

Vote please?

We do. Less distracting having a baby in the same room than a cat. DH got very upset when our beautiful lovely cat came into our room halfway through and started scratching his bottom. He found it most offputting.

At least the DCs don't so that...

We did. I don't get why it is "weird" at all. Other cultures don't necessarily have separate rooms for dcs. Presumably they do it too....?

LOL at the cat scratching his bottome!

We did it twice with DD in the same room, but DH found it deeply off putting - he said she kept looking at him and smiling and it put him off. So we found other places (cue carpet burn - ouch)

Yup. When TTC second child - well, we were on holiday and sharing a room with DC1, and it was the right time of the month...

DC1 seems unscarred. I hope he was asleep tho

I once opened my eyes mid-shag to find two startled kittens staring at us with massive eyes

4andnotout · 21/03/2010 20:54

Yes we do otherwise it would have been a barren 17months as dd4 still in with us!

Stretch · 21/03/2010 20:57

Me too!

Lol at the cat!
