Went on the computer today
And found that H has been looking at dating agency Kindred spirts have phoned him at work and he says he was bored
There is also a girls name that he has looked up in facebook and myspace
He says he was looking up old uni friends
He said friend(s) but there is only 1 that he has looked up and that is this lady who is 23 .He says it was the wrong "person"
Yet she appears on Facebook and myspace on our computer history

Was he bored and am I overreacting????

My experience (incidentally very positive on the whole) of dating sites is that it can take a few days to deactivate - most however take a few hours (ie the next time their server is refreshed). Some dating sites allow you to look but not be seen ( so you don't come up in other people's searches) allowing you to maintain privacy (but have to always take the initiative) so there is no necessarily much to be gained by joining yourself to look for him.

I think this is fairly serious. If he was just bored then he should have looked at cars or DIY or other interest stuff as PP said. Also once you have done something like this and got away with it the temptation next time you are bored is to start a chat and then you get away with that etc etc etc.

Hopefully the fact that he did not get away with this has been a big enough shock for him to bring him to his senses but you need to talk with him about why his boredeom led him in this particular direction...Also he might be feeling quite confused right now - ie his conscious brain is telling him that he just did this through boredom and for a laugh but sub-consciously I think there will be something deeper.
