one of my best friends dh is leaving and i feel devastated for her

and I feel so fucking cross. They are good friends, and the guy KNOWS the devastation it causes, as they have been there for me when my dh left yrs back.

I feel ridiculous to say, I almost don't know what to say to her, becuase of my expereince, when I SHOULD know. All i want to do is take her pain away. 3dcs, one only a tiny baby. The guy is a lovely lovely person. i can't go into details, but i just needed to let it out.

Having been there myself all I can say is just be there for your friend. My H leaving really taught me who my real friends there and who only wanted to know me when we were a couple. If you can turn up with wine, chocolate and a listening ear it will mean a lot!
