Confession time- I come to this forum to plead with mothers who are stuck in abusive relationships like mine was to leave for the sake of the kids.
It can get really upsetting sometimes, so I've learned to say my piece and move on.
Perhaps we can come to this thread when those feelings overwhelm us, cry and rage together until we feel calmer, more distant from the raw and jagged past?
