Should I stay for the sake of my child

Hi all - I have been married for 10 years and have one DS - im very unhappy. Should you stay in a relationship just to keep a family together ? or should I leave? i can't stop thinking that it is just not right for a mum to hury her DS. Any advice really welcomed.

well i left,my kids agree now it was the best thing. he for staying for his sake,as he gets older he might even blame himself

no,take responsibility for your own happiness..

If the relationship is not save-able then I would leave. My parents stayed together far too long because of me - it was a million times better when they split up.

You have a right to a life as well, you know.
And your children, when grown, won't thank you for staying for their sake. They'll blame themselves for your unhappiness.

I agree that you should LEAVE for the sake of your child

It's going to be making him very sad if his mummy is sad.

Nothing that makes you that unhappy is going to be good for your child.

Well I left with my kids, and am sure they will be better without our last unhealthy relationship. Now I feel good about myself.
