really begining to wonder now. I dont have many friends in real life, thought Id get some here but hardly any1 talks to me.

Ahhhhh can you get them to a park this afternoon to have a run round - if it's not toooo wet that is? I stick dd2 in the garden at every opportunity! not literally of course! but she loves 'mini-beasts' (dd1's current school topic!) and is into 'snails and worms' in a big way!!

hope you feeling bit better now... im quite new. not many folks talk to you when you are new! we are kind of on probation for a bit! its just like moving into a new area, the locals take a bit of time to warm up to you! be like me and just shove yourself into other peoples conversations, regardless!!! - and i'll always talk to you! xx

i have a dd who is 4 and a real handful at the momment but she is poorly at the momment so being very quiet which doesnt happen often

hi Louise. how old are your kids. i am an older mum but very young at heart and my 17 year old tells me to dress my age. Still like clubbing etc... Nothing stays the same forever, remember that, so stick your neck out, be sociable, join things, groups clubs, etc and meet people. Felt just like you when my 4 yr old ds was born . he is now 4 and have made some new frinds.

I dont have any friends neither....I have 1 friend but we don't have much in common anymore and another friend who is male but everytime we meet up for a drink or whatever, he always tries it on with me so I think hes a user rather than a friend!

Well I've just searched 'threads I'm on' and I've killed loads!!!

Lots of names here I recognise and would certainly not feel are ignored! Just keep joining in!

awww dont worry. it seems like that sometimes, theres just so many of us here. im the resident loner and im okay with that! ...{floats around in the early hours}. no-one spoke to me for aaaages but ive got some nice friends now. ive been a member for two years nearly but only really met people a year ago!
