This is v interesting... particularly what scorpette said... O have a near eidetic memory and can remember lots from before my brother was born (23 mo) and as people says it is feelings and thoughts not words.

Can't beat 3mo though greeny! Incredible...

There are periods when I remember nothing though, and it is definitely a protective mechanism.

greeny- is your memory in general very good too?

DH cannot really remember much from before... ooh... 14 or so! not blocked out btw, just dire memory for that kind if thing. He remembers everything he ever reads though- even 20 years later.

I wonder- pintandchips- you Male or Female?
