Things are feeling a little 'flat' at the minute, what can i do?

Dh and i have been together three and a half years, have been married since october and have an 18mo DD.

Generally we have a great relationship and have had some tough times to get through which seem to have made us stronger. I love him to bits!

The problem seems to be that lately things have got a little 'flat' I don't mean sexually, although that is not as much as it used to be (my fault) but just generally. Dh seems a bit distracted and we don't seem to have conversations about stuff, it's more a case of; this is what i did today, what did you do today? sort of thing.

I want to try to get things back on track before it goes too far iyswim?

So please, any ideas and critiscisms (apart from my spelling or grammer ) greatly appreciated, as it is really starting to get me down

That's what I say - how do I know I'll want to? Of course in theory it is a fun activity, if you try it you might find you like it

Alice we missed Sunday morning most, so being the brilliant parents that we are, we started taking dd1 & ds swimming every Sunday, we would all be soo tired, we all needed an afternoon nap ,

although did get caught out once when MIL rang to see what was keeping us (we were late for a family BBQ) and dd1 had woken up, answered phone and said mummy & daddy are in bed with no jammies on!
Thankfully she was only 3 at the time and MIL couldn't really make her out

Trillian I won't tell if you don't tell!

I know exactly how you feel, DH and I tend to spend the evening gormlessly watching TV or surfing the internet so we implemeneted a rule that one evening a week we turn off both laptops/TV/etc and have a nice dinner together and then play backgammon! We usually end up having sex as well because we feel (well I feel, can't speak for DH) like we have connected as a couple again.

I think i am going to just try a bit harder in the evenings rather than just flopping.
