Do any of you honestly fancy DH anymore?

No MrsPickles. Perhaps he feels the same about me. Its not right though. Dont know what you all think but I dont care if i never do 'bedroom giggy' again. But men need 'it'.

It's not just men who need 'it'.

Flibbertyjibbet · 26/05/2009 23:49

I think after having my two children and not wanting any more, there is a biological switch operating a voice at the back of my mind that sometimes says 'you don't ever need to have sex again'!!

yes i still do fancy my dp but he is just coming into his prime and is 8 years younger than me, so I worry more about whether he still fancies me

luvoneson · 26/05/2009 23:54

Its a bit of a difficult one as we all have different needs in that department. I know what you mean about the switch Flibberty.

FJ, know that feeling, My DH is 7 years older than me but very fit, unlike me, and he doesn't fancy me any more. That's a very hard thought to live with.

I do loads

Maria2007 · 30/05/2009 08:54

Luvoneson: what do you mean men need 'it'? . Women do too you know.

And in any case, I think fancying someone doesn't just disappear, it can come & go (as other things in the relationship). Yes I suppose in some cases it might just 'disappear' but I think in most cases, when we're talking about a good, healthy relationship, it comes & goes...

PuppyMonkey · 30/05/2009 08:57

Haven't got a DH, but I have a DP of 15 years and I really fancy him.

TrinityRhino · 30/05/2009 08:58

Yes, I do.

mrsmaidamess · 30/05/2009 09:06

Not all the time, by any stretch of the imagination.

But then I would be very surprised if he found me to be love's young dream all the time either, as I can be vile

lowenergylightbulb · 30/05/2009 15:48

Yes - he looks like Vigo Mortenson and he can cook. What's not to like?!

LaurieFairyCake · 30/05/2009 15:50

Yes, he has improved with age - he is fit with a very tight butt. His slight moobs make me go all squishy.

sayithowitis · 30/05/2009 16:10

Oh my god yes! especially when I am on MN on Saturday lunchtime, looking like something the cat dragged in, he brings me a late breakfast and says 'the DCs are both out, lets go back to bed'. And means it. And gives me a fantastic time! Oh yesiree, I most certainly do fancy him!

WolframAlpha · 30/05/2009 16:13

Yes, I do. Not when he is picking his nose, for sure... But, yes.

And I think you can get it back. How are things generally?

tryingherbest · 30/05/2009 16:13

Lovonseson

No I don't

noddyholder · 30/05/2009 16:15

Yes as much as I ever have

jabberwocky · 30/05/2009 16:16

Absolutely!

brettgirl2 · 30/05/2009 16:17

I fancy mine more the longer we are together (11 years).

PremenstrualChickens · 30/05/2009 17:06

Been with my DH for 12 years, and his smile can still flip my stomach over

makipuppy · 30/05/2009 17:18

I always think dp is the most attractive, clever, interesting person in the room and he makes me want to be the best person I can be. But then it's only been 2 years so give it time.

OrmIrian · 30/05/2009 17:23

No. Mostly I love him. I think that he is probably quite attractive. He is funny and clever and good company much of the time. But no, I don't fancy him. I did until about 12 year ago but too much has happened. I feel as if it's been worn away by events.

insertwittynicknameHERE · 30/05/2009 17:27

I fancy him loads, just don't like him very much at the minute
