I have just been dumped!

Don't really want to go into details as it was literally 20 mins ago but I am gutted and need distracting.

(fortunately no dc's involved, after all the threads i've read on here, i'm thankful, if that's at all possible, that it happened now and not 5 years down the line)

Oh this is always shit. I remember going to a party the night after being dumped in dark glasses because my eyes were so swollen I couldn't put any make up on. I was actally doing moderately well at cheerful socialising (it was the sort of party that wearing sunglasses was seen as an amusing bit of posing rather than anything else) until some tipsy girl admired my sunglasses and grabbed them - instant 'what's p with your eyes' from nearest friends triggered about three hours of howling and ranting...
Here, have a virtual large glass of wine and chin up. It;s his loss, remember.

I went to a Lionel Ritchie concert a few days after being dumped by a guy I was desperately in love with - it was Valentine's Day, and there were happy couples everywhere. Hello, is it me you're looking for? Every song cut my heart to ribbons. Hope today's sunshine makes you feel a bit better.

Thanks folks. Went out last night and I was absolutely fine the whole night, had great fun except from a couple of moments when people asked if I was ok and I welled up.

Kiwi, we went to the lionel concert few weeks after the last time we'd "talked" and had a ball. It really confuddles me that although we had such a great laugh and everything was good, it managed to go back to being mundane.

Dunno it just wasn't great anymore. Nothing big. Hence the reason I'd love to work it out.
