does anyone else feel like this? or am i just a sad sad person?
i spend a lot of my time on mn. when i first came here, i liked the anonymity of the site, i had never used the internet for this sort of interaction before. but i have seen how people have fromed friendships online. and are happy to see each other, or whatever the netspeak is . but i guess i am just feeling sorry for myself.

It was me that talked to you about the Moonwalk. Are you doing it?

Posey · 03/05/2005 21:35

Oh yes. In serious traing now and really enjoying it. BTW in the big/slim section is a pedometer club thingy where we encourage each other to get to the 70000 steps a week target. ANYWAY, next year we thought we'd try and get a mn team together if you fancy it.

Misspiggy · 03/05/2005 21:39

Hi Stitch! I've only been on MN for about a week and remember you from at least a couple of threads..most recently Toothache's when you posted after me about learning to drive so "no", you're not invisible! Must admit I've posted a couple times and not had much reaction so I was a bit worried that I was gatecrashing but then I gave myself a kick cos I had some lovely replies to my "introduce yourself" thread when I first registered (thanks Marslady!) so I realised I was being a saddo!

stitch · 03/05/2005 21:52

hi misspiggy, at least you introduced yourself, i dont think i have done that yet!
as pretty candles said, there is no feedback on what someone thinks if they dont reply to you, evenif they mentally note it. and ive never really used the internet to interact like this before.
though am an expert at shopping on th enet, much to my dh dismay.

Misspiggy · 03/05/2005 22:02

Oooh...me too. Internet shopping is far too easy isn't it? My DH is really pleased I've found this site so the credit cards get a rest

MarsLady · 03/05/2005 22:04

my DH is with yours there Misspiggy lol It keeps me off of Ebay!

Misspiggy · 03/05/2005 22:14

Oh...I remember E Bay Unfortunately, so does my postman - think he's still in traction!!

stitch · 03/05/2005 22:20

i spent so long on here this evening, that i missed the deadline on this foundation i was biddingon. lost it by fifty sodding pence.
all coz i was too busy having a moan and feeling sorry for myself.
oh, and today havent been on the crosstrainer either.
god, i should get off the computer and go do something.

I have been on here now for ...erm...I think about a month now probably. Every time I tell myself I'll just have a quick look, but then before I know 2 hours have passed by and I've done bugger all housework!

I'd like to go to a meet-up and I'm sure me and some of the people on here would really click but no-one seems to live anywhere near me so I content myself with an image I make up in my head of what they might look like. I wonder if people do the same about me??

stitch · 03/05/2005 22:33

where do you live qe?
sally, i think you are right, an dmust introduce myself. but not tonight, must go to bed now.

Poor you Stitch........bet you were livid! You should see the size of my ironing pile since I started MN ing I am a disgrace as a wife and a mother! From the sounds of the different coversations I don't think there are many people in my area either QE.

QueenEagle · 03/05/2005 22:47

I live in Bedfordshire, I think I recall a couple of others who live about half an hour's drive away.

hunkermunker · 03/05/2005 22:53

Hi Stitch - I know you from breastfeeding threads and others too

And I wasn't mentioned nearly enough for the amount I post on here in that other thread

I want to meet all of you anyway (except that JT - she thinks my DS is a girl )
