Dh said "I do do all the working"

brief outline of circumstanes. I'm sahm to 3 yr old. dh out at work 7.30am to 6pm weekdays.I got fed up last night as i nearly always do the washing up after dinner (aswell as cooking it - i do actually enjoy cooking so it's not usually a chore). I had a maon t dh about me do all the clearing up, washing up , etc and he said he did all the working and as he gets up at 6.30 (i dont' get up til he leaves at 7.30)its not unfair that i do more in the evenings. This may be true but i just hated the way he said it. he has since apologised and said he know i do alot too but still doesn't think it s unfair i do more in the evening.

Summary of what we do:

cooking - me
washing up - me
dishwasher - both
washing andputting away - both
ironing - mainly him
hoovering - Him when reminded, sometimes me
cleaning - me
bins - him
household admin - me

We've always had tea at 6pm (on the table at that time) - mine get a snack mid-afternoon (now after school time)

hmm your DH does a hell of a lot.

I am SAHM to a 6yo, 4yo and 13mo. (6yo is at school, 4 yo at nursery in mornings). DH works - often from first thing to 11pm at night.
This is a list of DHs "jobs" - He does drop off and i do pick ups (he drives, i don't), he puts the bins from side of the house to the front once a week, he does all the baths (twice a week at mo), he rarely empties the DW or fills it (prefers to pile up the sink),oh and he takes DS1 to gymnastics. It's also a blue job to clean the cooker, probably why its only been done about 3 times since we moved in.

You really do have it easy.
