I sometimes think Im strange when it comes to sex because I'm so like a guy!!

I cant do goin for a bath or massages coz I just want to go to bed after!
Foreplay half the time I cant be bothered doin!

I swear Im a guy because I'm in it for the orgasm, it's like most woman need all the petting to feel close & love etc etc but I think when u orgasm(espec. together) thats when u cling on & its intense and that I believe is the most powerful part of sex and it only took like half an hour to an hour so you're still getting plenty of shut eye!!

But the chilling together and touching each other and feeling close is also good too, not necessarily before sex. Sometimes just as well as part of the fun of being in a relationship.

I guess it depends on how you feel about each other and what mood you're both in.

I wouldn't be too quick to label it 'guy' or 'girl' behaviour though, surely its just 'you' behaviour?

I'm slightly worried that you seem to be thinking its a good thing to act like a guy in bed, and maybe you feel you have to live up to this 'I want sex and no strings' thing and are therefore denying that you too have a softer side. Yeah I probably did use slang talk and I'm sorry if you're too outdated to recognise it but just because I'm 19 doesn't make me any less of a mother, housewife, earner and/or lover!! Because well I helped raise my siblings. I mean how many teenagers, in fact how many woman, do you know who done labour themselves without the midwives or anyone telling them to push and having hours & hours of labour with no pain relief!

Have you not watched sex and the city, it is yes, a rather stereotypical thing to say and maybe you're not from scotland but all the men I know don't want to cuddle and it's actually kind of medical because once a guy ejaculates it releases hormones and i honestly can't remember the technical word, but sex makes men extra sleepy!
And I think on every sex programme & womans magazine tells you that the majority of women in relationships are in sex for the feelings & closeness etc etc.
But since my "skip foreplay" lasts at least half an hour I get lots of orgasms maybe I'm just lucky with multiples so I don't need foreplay, it's just everyone makes a big deal out of foreplay..so I wondered if anyone else had the same thoughts.

I cuddle into my partner every night either before or when i go to sleep so it's not a lack of closeness.
Even if there was no sex there would be no change..we didn't always have sex we've known each other since we were 14..that probably helps...

If you and whoever you have sex with enjoy it, then there's nothing to worry about whether you have no foreplay, lots of foreplay, or can only get off if you dress up as a tellytubby and get your partner to sing Row Row Row Your Boat.

There is no such thing as 'male' or 'female' sexual behaviour. It's nonsense perpetuated by people who want to pigeonhole men and women, excuse men for being lazy shags and discourage women from being sexually demanding or expecting good sex. It's also used to excuse male cheating and serial shagging whilst making women feel wrong or weird for the same behaviour.

Sometimes I like cuddles and eye contact, sometimes not. I always like an orgasm. Sometimes DH likes the mushy stuff, sometimes he can't be bothered. Doesn't say much about us as men and women, just people.
