History: Just after dc4 birth DH gets demoted with a huge cut in income. We have to sell our house and our dcs will move schools in the next couple of years so the upset is minimised. His new boss (his old role) is a prize tosser, avoids CSA by changing his name (so he boasts) and told DH to lose the hard done by expression he occasionally has. So DH's demotion is bigger than most, unlike others who have had the same treatment he has less potential to earn, he has always managed at least 15 people, he now has only 6 new recruits. His job is sales based.
Another manager has left and DH is still only in the running for the staff!! He was promised 'proper' sales staff in the very beginning.
Not only am I pissed off with his compnay I am really pissed off with him for letting this all happen, it's not really his fault but if he had realised (like I did) that his old boss was a lying wanker he could have avoided all this.

Don't you dare blame him. I'm sure you make errors in judgement too!

Now you have off loaded, come up with a plan. I am sure DH knows you are disappointed and annoyed with him but you have to be a team and get through this together.

It's probably weighing him down more knowing how cross you are with him.
Can you try and show him some unconditional support and see if you can work this through together?

How would realising his old boss was a lying wanker have made a difference? Everyone got demoted, whether or not they identified the lying wanker.

It's an annoying situation, but I can't see how blaming your DH helps.
