And found his most recent searches.

What he as actually searched for (mis-spelled) has come up with childrens clothes.

If you spell it correctly it comes up with female escorts.

I am bloody livid. I'm pretty sure escorts aren't his thing and he was just being curious because some tosser male he asociates with has mentioned this site, but I'm

He's out for the evening(in his painting gear, so not looking atractive )

Arrrgh!

I'm tempted to phone him to confront him now, but would rather have a see the reaction in his face. WWYD?

hmmm what was it he was searching for? are you sure it wasn't children's clothes???

Almandine · 28/01/2009 20:35

girl-drectory

I don't know why there is such a big difference in what it comes up with.

There may be a reasonable explanation??

If I was you I would probably jump in with both feet but trying to be objective it would be better to get his reasons before accusing him of anything. Good luck!

thisisyesterday · 28/01/2009 20:39

hmm yes, comes straight up with the escorts for me,.
def no backtyracking out of that one!

that said, I did inadvertantly come across a male escort site the other day when looking for something entirely unrelated!!!

not sure what else your dh could have been looking for though! eep. hope you;'re right that he was just being curious though.

i would def wait and ask him when he gets in

Disenchanted3 · 28/01/2009 20:40

ive looked on male escort sites because everyone on a forum was laughing at the pictures.

could it be something like that?

he wasn't automatically looking to buy or something.

Almandine · 28/01/2009 20:44

He is the tightest man on the planet,(slight exageration) so I can't imagine him paying for soemthing he could get for free.

And almost ever second of his day is acountable for. Do you think he just wanted a quick look at sexy pics? I was out last night.

He's really not a porn-mag type of bloke, though.

Hmmmm, sounds suspect but having said that I once was searching for childrens books and was faced with a load of porn sites!! Just ask him....you'll know the truth from his reaction

kitkatqueen · 28/01/2009 23:21

pinner35 - that happened to me once too.

It probably got the search wrong bcoz of next directory - girls section?

N1 · 29/01/2009 03:10

If you found it out and it's once, it's hardly a good idea to go in "guns - a - blasting". It's once.

History is a good guide. The bloke is clean. He is tight and wouldn't pay for sex (good on him). He can usually account for all his time. Keeping that in mind, who sounds like they are insecure?

Apart from that computer observation, is something real in your life that causes you to think that the man might be looking about? If there is nothing, I think you are better off leaving the issue right alone and keeping things as they are.

If you start throwing accusations about, false accusations tend to gather ill feeling.

TooFoggy · 29/01/2009 07:29

I would treat it with amusement tbh, but I suppose it depends on your relationship etc.

Almandine · 29/01/2009 10:34

Well when he came home I said with very raised eyebrows "what have you been looking at on there?" Pointing at the laptop.

DH; "On where?"

Me; "On the laptop."

DH; "I don't know, rubbish probably."

I swear he went red, but it was hard to tell as he lights were dim. He didn't ask me why I was asking, which made me think he is guilty as hell, but as I have no other reason to be suspicious about anything atall in the 12 years I've been with him I supose I'll let it drop.

OP posts:
Almandine · 29/01/2009 10:37

But the TV was on, and if he was guilty he would just have distracted me by pointing something out on the TV surely?

So either he is guilty as hell, or 100% innocent. I really don't know.

if you have no suspicions until now then ask him straight out and give him the benefit of the doubt.
i'm a bloke and have looked at some of these sites before just out of pure interest when having heard of someone using them.i've never been with, nor would i ever be with a prostitute, the idea disgusts me. so he could have been looking simply out of curiosity after being told/hearing someone talking about the websites.

piratecat · 29/01/2009 10:54

prob just curious

Almandine · 29/01/2009 11:06

I think you are both right.

OP posts:
OhBling · 29/01/2009 11:10

what else was he searching for? Surely if he's looking for porn or escorts he's not going to only do one measly little search?

I tend to agree with Mayor - far more likely it just came up or a friend sent him a link or something.
