My oh proposed last night after a lovely tea, just the 2 of us and a couple of nice bottles of wine.

Thing is, MIL has offered to have the lo for us one night & I would like to do something to celebrate that isn't too expensive or formal or anything like that. Just something nice to do together.

But I'm stuck for ideas . . . help!

CONGRATULATIONS!

How about a nice walk somewhere that is pretty and would be lit up by street lights? My choice would be Knaresborough (sentimetal reasons by the river and up in the castle grounds (though I don't knw how well that would be lit)

or Ilkley /Brimham Rocks, or even at a push the seafront somewhere.

Is there somewhere similar near you?

and then home for a nice peaceful takeaway, more wine and a peaceful night?

Whatever you decide - enjoy!

a nice wander somewhere pretty sounds like a good one, there's nowhere really close to us but a quick bus ride away wouldn't be too bad.

cheers Ria, I will have a look around for somewhere nice to go
