So how much time IS good for sex in your opinion - 45 mins (or less or more)?

Reading the thread about lack of libido I was interested to see that someone said that 45 mins foreplay was normal for them. I always feel guilty if DP spends too much time trying to get me going. But is this normal...I do think that women take a long time to warm up properly. How much time does your DP/DH spend on foreplay?

We vary, sometimes it can be no foreplay, done in ten minutes (or even less) quickie. Other times the foreplay can go on and on and on and on - i take AGES to cum, more so lately because of medication im on and i usually have to "lend a hand".

But how long is good? I like it when it takes about an hour with foreplay

45 mins on the in and out bit! no thanks to be honest 45 mins on the whole thing is probably the max I would want - I have a short attention span and my mind starts to wander after a while.

Half an hour, tops, including foreplay. I have things to do!

Seriously, 45 minutes is about our minimum! Foreplay alone can take longer and then the 'in and out' bit can be almost as long again! No soreness generally due to use of lubes and trust me, it doesn't get boring. TBH, often I feel disappointed when it's over because DH is SOOOOO good at what he does. And he doesn't care how long it takes for me to get there, he is more than happy to oblige! I would say our average from start to finish is about 90 minutes! But we don't have toddlers to consider, our teenagers are more than happy to leave us alone when we are 'at it' whether at night, or in the morning, or indeed any other time of day. After all, parents of teenagers don't do that sort of thing do they! (their opinion is that they themselves were actually immaculate conceptions of course!)

Good sex for us is about 25 mins tops? from start to finish! works for us and i'm v. happy with results!!!

15 mins usually, start to finish, and we've both usually had an orgasm so i'm not bothered about the length of time involved. although sometimes if i'm done ages before him i start doing my pelvic floor exercises to get him finished aswell
