I have name changed as I think my friend may use MN.

Anyway I have a gay friend and her little boy has been pretending he has a daddy to be like the rest of his class. I haven't known my friend for long, so I don't know the whole background but she has made it clear to me that the little boy does not have a father.

The little boy is 4 and knows he lives with his mummy and mummy's special friend.

My friend is very upset as her ds said that he wanted his friends to like him and didn't think they would if they knew he didn't have a daddy so just made one up, and is looking for a way to help her ds to understand more.

Does anyone have any advice or know of any books that I could point in her direction.

Tia

No idea - sorry.
Maybe you should try posting in the Gay Parents section (if you haven't already!)

Oh cheers, didn't realise there was such a section - will go repost there. Thanks
