That's it really, For ages I thought he just didn't fancy me any more. He recently told me he cant see me as his lover anymore, he sees me as a mom. Last time I tried to initiate something he rejected me and I have no confidence to keep trying as I know he is not interested. blah.

thanks you for your advice...
I like the dieas of going out without DS etc, but really I thinkI am still the same person (although a tad overweight so I spose I could work on that).
Thanks, Kevlar and tdotb, it is great to hear male thoughts, although tdotb, that makes me very sad Maybe you should do something now? Just not as radical as killing yourself. Surely it is not too late, even if it means seperating???

sadly Tanee's last post rings true to me. We had to go away to a hotel a month ago , but with DS so not really romantic as it were, and that is the time I tried to initiate something and was rejected. I was confused because we had been having a great night, drinking wine laughing etc and then he rejected me... we I said as much, he said that is how he feels, like we are just good mates

We were friends before we got together, so maybe that is all there really is.
So confused, when he e-mails me etc he always signs of with a few xxxx

Tanee, did you feel the same way towards your DH or was it from his side?

I believe there is usually a waiting list for Relate, so rather than wait till things are much worse, would it be worth asking them for help now? (You can always cancel if problem is solved in the meantime.)
