I've thrown out sexy undies which weren't mine!

My ex (1 month) came back from boys trip away to see DS. I offered to wash his clothes but he was so cagey about the suitcase that I was suspicious. When he was bathing DS I looked inside and found he'd bought some sexy undies which were clearly not intended for me (he has a new girlfriend). I got a f**ing fridge magnet. I threw them away. Saw each other yesterday to take ds to a party - he hasn't mentioned it.. was I wrong?

I really feel for you. Now your ex will think of you as a snooper who is rummaging through his things, and a jealous and a thief cow for stealing his new girlfriends present. (He doesnt know you have thrown them away, remember) You really spoil it for yourself this way. To create a working relationship after the split for the sake of your child, takes TWO. You silly bint.

QS... A wee bit harsh... No?

QuintessentialShadow · 14/09/2008 10:33

Maybe. Sorry for sounding harsh. But it is the truth, non?

Alexa808 · 14/09/2008 10:53

Understandable reaction, though that doesn't what you did was right.

Fundamentally agree with QS. Not harsh, just honest.

Yes, wrong. But I'd have done it too if you've only been broken-up for a month.

Perhaps you should have stuck sexy undies ON THE FRIDGE with the magnet and see what he said to that!!

I'd question why you are doing his washing!
