Sex when you have your period??? Do you do it or not?

Hi, I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are about having sex whilst on their period? My last boyfriend hinted that he didn't mind if i was on, i felt a little shy about it but as i always feel horny when on, i did find myself thinking about it. What do you think?

I don't even feel remotely horny when I'm on - so absolutely not - can't think of anything worse to do while AF is here......much rather over indulge in ben and jerry's and chocolate

My DP always wants to go for it regardless of periods, but itthink my head could be half hanging off and he would still want to he is a v.horny bugger. I on the other hand am a bit of a clean freak so wouldn't dream of doing it during my period, maybe i would consider it if it were in the last few days where its very light (since we use condoms) but generally no.

Ummmm not for me but if your in a serious relationship and its a light period don't see what the problem is as long as u both don't mind

We used to when we were at it like rabbits, but tbh, my periods are short (3 days) and heavy, so it's no great problem to wait a couple of days, so these days we do.

NO! I could think of nothing worse, I don't to be touched by anybody when i'm menstruating.

If you are both happy and relaxed about it then I can't see any problem. I know what you mean about feeling horny when having your period

We do sometimes, DP is always quite keen and although it isn't my favourite time of the month to have sex I don't mind too much.

I love to because I'm pretty sure I won't get pregnant. I would never do it in full flow (though DH would) but happy to at begining and end.

Not for me. I once got my period whilst we were at it and both dh and I were surprised at how upset I got. We had been together 10 years at the time so it should not have been a big deal. I obviously have unresolved issues.

i dont feel much like it when im on these days, but i always used to be horny as hell on my period.

just as an aside, if you use instead softcups , ahem, instead of tampons or mooncups etc, you can have sex on your period without bloodiness. if that bothers you.
