ggirl, thats the funniest thing I've read all day. I have tears rolling down my face.

At least it stops you grinding your teeth.

brimfull · 31/08/2008 19:37

Gingerbear · 31/08/2008 19:39

And if your DH goes to bed early, doesn't it wake him up in a grump to find you latching on like that?

brimfull · 31/08/2008 19:40

We always go to bed at the same time, it gives us a chance to talk and have sex etc we watch tv in bed alot its just nice to be all cuddled up together. We sleep in each others arms and i wouldn't want it any other way.

ElenorRigby · 31/08/2008 19:58

OMG this is a bone of contention for DP and I.
For work I need to get up at 5:30-6am.
DP is a nightowl, he regularly plays games until 12 or 1 or 2.
I am a light sleeper so cant sleep much until he comes to bed.
Then within ten minutes of him sleeping and twitching Im lying awake. Oh dear

AuntieMaggie · 31/08/2008 20:07

I go to bed earlier than DP - usually around 10-10.30 and he comes to bed whenever he's ready. Not great as we don't do the chatting/cuddling thing unless its a sunday morning. But I need more sleep than him and have been sleeping really badly lately.

Though he's the one who always says he's tired!

AuntieMaggie · 31/08/2008 20:09

Don't have much sex either

ranting · 31/08/2008 20:09

Sorry, am rofling at all the 'we fall asleep in each others arms' arf!

Lol at gg.

LazyLinePainterJane · 31/08/2008 20:31

I go to bed earlier, sometimes he comes and reads or laptops when I am drifting off to sleep, or sometimes we go to bed together early and take the piss out of the shopping channel products.

We do not touch during sleep. Unless it's night sex. Neither of us like to sleep touching.

brimfull · 01/09/2008 00:34

we are not touchy feely sleepers either
perish the thought
I like my space

We used too, many moons ago pre-children. But now he usually goes about an hour or 2 earlier than me, although thats probably because I'm on here every night until the wee hours.

Joolyjoolyjoo · 01/09/2008 00:46

Sometimes, but more commonly he goes up first, and I stay up too late! I secretly love the feeling of having the place to myself- no TV on, no kids, so am reluctant to cut it short, even though I am a cantankerous old sow in the morning, while DH leaps out of bed the minute the alarm clock goes off (the man doesn't understand the wonder that is the SNOOZE button, sadly!)

Beaches · 01/09/2008 00:58

Shift worker too makes it more special when he is here at bedtime though, always have spooned apart from the really hormonal months of my preg when I wanted to murder him for snoring!!
He finds it funny watching me try to turn over in bed to cuddle him now as I only have about two months of preg left!
Nothing nicer than waking up to feel big loving arms all around you and little baba wriggling away inside to start the day
Maybe if he worked less shifts I would have a less rosy glow about it though

brimfull · 01/09/2008 00:58

oh yes that feeling of having the place to yourself-it's addictive
hence me posting this at this ungodly hour
must go to bed fgs

I know- I need to go to bed too, ut I know that when I creep in, bat-eared DH will wake up and tut loudly about the late hour! So then I think may as well be hung for a sheep... But no! Tomorrow is a schoolday, so need to be up and at 'em! Night all!

brimfull · 01/09/2008 01:04
