As per the title. I have started seeing a man I met in work and he is extremely shy. We went on one date so far and he was fairly quiet overall but seemed interested in me, and he has asked me out for a second date.
I'm quite shy myself, so finding this a bit hard at times because I'm not used to being the more "active" part when it comes to pursuing or dating. I know that he is super quiet in general, so this is not a reflection on him being disinterested. In fact several people in work seemed surprised when I told them that we were going on the first date because he is so difficult to get to know.
So if anyone can maybe share experiences on dating a shy partner and what worked and what to avoid I'd really appreciate it.
I'll be seeing him tomorrow and I am looking forward to it, but I feel a bit like a fish out of water too. Thanks!
