Worried my son will turn into a narcissist just like his father if he continues living with him. Anyone else been through similar?
I’ve noticed him speaking similar or saying similar things.

He’s just caused an argument because I asked him to take a photograph of the dog im minding, id forgot to bring my phone out.
he was telling me it was pointless and no one cares about photos. This is the type of thing his dad used to say to me all the time and make me feel silly.

Yes his father's vile behaviour will inevitably rub off on him if he spends a lot of time with him. Don't allow him to speak to you rudely, tell him sharply to speak to you respectfully. Teenagers can be rude and cheeky but that doesn't mean you let it slide - be calm and firm and consistent. Is he living full time with his father?

Thank you, i will do. It was just really triggering as it took me straight back to being with him, i felt like it was his dad talking.
yss hes living with him full time as its easier for school but he stays with me on a sat or Sunday. @whippersnapper55
