my husband and I have been seperated for 3 weeks now.
one second he is going off on one saying he wants to give it another go at our relationship.
now he saying he doesn’t want to talk to me. Not even when I hand over our son to him.
he kept messaging me things to do about bills then saying he never met me
so I messaged him saying to stop messaging me unless has to do with our son.
then no texts… great then day later he goes good night son dad loves you and you will be with me soon. Our son is 14 months old it’s not like I will tell him that
what is it with this man? He is just pissing me off

Hi. I'm separated a year and 2 months now, and pretty much fast tracked the divorce to be as quick as possible (all done in 12 months). And I think i filed for divorce earlier than most people separating, because of the awkwardness in those early weeks you're in now.
I don't have much advice other than to say his behaviour is pretty common. Acting out. Blaming you. Being vindictive. Angry. Sulky. Bit childish. Rings a lot of bells for me.
You could try documenting communication issues and maybe asking other people to witness anything or if you have to discuss anything significant then meeting in a coffee shop worked for us, to agree childcare.
It will get easier. Just early days for you both xx

Who ended it?

Get a new number on a cheap phone and give it to him. Block him on every other channel.

Check your twat phone for messages once a week/just before handover or whatever suits you and no other time. Do not answer anything that is not child related and absolutely necessary.

You’re going through a separation, people behave bizarrely…you just need to cut each other some slack, minimise contact at handovers, and establish some boundaries.

I’m presuming you ended it, so just show a bit of empathy and give him the space he needs, his head is probably a mess. Roles reversed you’d probably be the same, to be honest I’m sure you are probably struggling even if you were the one who ended it.

I had this done to me. All the same behaviour as you described. At the same time claiming still trying. The good chance is he has already spoken to a solicitor and that’s the solicitor’s advice. You need to get yourself prepared.

Basically I ended it, because he was emotionally abusive. Controlling. We had seperated 3 times prior in the last year. My friend found him on a friend and date site. I confronted him he said it says friends! Also he said his bank got hacked by a dating site.
so when I left he slammed my car door and said “I hope you rot in hell” set my son off I told him and he said he doesn’t give a crap.
but he is going around telling everyone I cheated and I am a horrible person and I am stopping him from seeing his son. But he was the one who said he wanted him every other weekend and now he is seeing him every week
