Husbands outburst

Husband lost his temper. Threw a chair which frightened our cockatiels, then went to kitchen and kicked a chair, and said don't respect him. Never came back to see if the birds were ok. I was feeling unappreciated and said he'd trade me in ic he could. 18 years married but think this is it for us.

I should think it frightened you too! Do you feel safe now? Have you anywhere you can go?

Is he still in the house? You are in danger here. Have you called the police?

MyKhakiBalonz · 20/09/2026 23:10

Yes, im ok. Hes apologised. But isn't that what they do. Just shaken. And worried I cant trust him.

MyKhakiBalonz · 20/09/2026 23:14

I was complaining about doing all the housework and then because our relationship hasn't been good said he'd trade me in if he could and he lost it

He did something similar in an argument 19 years ago. Punched a hole in the wall. But he honestly scared the birds, which I think is awful
