Questions on 20th anniversary

Nc for this one

Today is my 20th wedding anniversary. I have a good marriage with a man who loves me and will do anything for me. We have no kids though choice. We have shared values and attitudes, and do nice things.
Through the result of my hard work, I have now left formal work (I’m early 40s). DH left work around five years ago as he just didn’t like it - I’ve done the lift of finances since apart from him having a few decent investments. Our mortgage is paid off, have reasonable pension pots and savings each, and my parents are sorted again as a result of my work. (His are too I believe but he’s got siblings).
I am just feeling meh about it. On the one hand I get that it’s an ‘achievement’ to go the distance, but I feel he’s had a really bloody easy time of it actually and I’m wondering if I’m actually happy or just fine?
I don’t know what I want from this thread but I’m fairly sure that I don’t want to reach another milestone and feel this way.

Happy Anniversary.

Could you get this moved to the Relationships board - I think you will get more traffic there.

40 years IS an achievement but I am sorry you feel this way. I hope wiser people come along.

Thanks for the reply. I’m trying to be happy with my lot, but just can’t shake the feeling of restlessness. I’m sure if I told any of my/our friends they would tell me to get a grip as he’s objectively a great guy.
