Break up help

I am out of a relationship of two years. M broken up with by F. Two months after break up. She’s made it clear she loves me and cares about me, but the way I treated her within the relationship is unignorable and she will not go to counseling and has said it is over. She went back and forth many times but this time I need to save myself and move on. Because the last two months were brutal. I still have hope, but I need to let it go and move on.

How do I best do this? I need to come to terms with the fact I can’t hope for this relationship, grieve the loss of two years with someone I thought I’d marry, take accountability and not blame only myself, and finally move on and forget about her healthily. should I have hope?

If you treated her badly in the relationship, you take responsibility for that and stay away from her. Maybe access some counselling for yourself to address your behaviour towards her.

I’ve been going to counseling twice a week the last month and a half and I have a long way to go. I apologized for everything twice now. Is there any hope for a future? It’s really hard she’s been so wish washy on counseling and almost went like three times but ultimately said no and blocked me yesterday because of her friends and family.
