I think my marriage is over

I think my marriage is over after 22years. We're in our early 50s and just dont seem to have anything in common anymore except the DCs.
We dont really argue, but tonight we did. He's pretty anti-social and during the argument he said he thinks I have too many friends & that he doesn't like most of them. I have always made an effort with his small group of friends so the fact that he has no interest in mine hurts.
I took my daughter to a concert recently & I felt so alive. Like I've been missing out on doing fun stuff because he hates anything sociable.
I love planning trips & holidays for our family, mainly because I enjoy making memories with our DCs - I plan our holidays around their interests to give them amazing experiences. He's just told me the only reason I do it is for me, because I want to see these places!
He had prostate Cancer 3 years ago, it was tough on him and us all. But he had his prostate removed and is doing well, he hasnt needed further treatment. But we've probably only been intimate 3 times since then. He wont talk about it. This hasn't helped our marriage as I feel like we're just roommates now.
He's never been affectionate & never hugs me or touches me unless I initiate it. He kisses me goodbye every morning & thats the only bit of affection between us. I'm a really huggy person - thankfully our DCs love hugs otherwise I'd be so miserable!
He's a good person and a great Dad but I don't think I can see myself growing old with him. I dont know why i'm posting to be honest. I just feel sad and I dont know when I should call it a day.

I’m in a similar position. I almost wish there was a big row, to have a “proper” reason

Me too, I’m fed up. It just feels like we are more like friends.

I remember reading somewhere, don't ask me where as I can't remember, that when couples can no longer be bothered to argue that it's because the passion has gone. I think its where they've argued sometimes anyway not if they've never been a couple that's never argued (apparently there are some!)
It's like the stuffing had gone out of the relationship. That's where mine is at. I just can't be arsed to argue with my dh about the petty things he's concerned about and trying to get a reaction to wind me up. It's boring and I haven't the energy or inclination.

What are you getting out of this relationship now?.
Would you want your dc to have a marriage like this?. No you would not. And it’s not good enough for you either. He’s a miserable fun sponge who is also quite happy to try and continually put you down.

Women in poor marriages often too write the good dad comment when they can think of nothing else positive to write about their man. Be brave and start thinking sbout getting legal advice. You do not have to act on it immediately and knowledge here is power.
