Im not sure how ive landed where I am but im not coping.

DH of 27 years has walked out and taken all his belongings. There isn't another woman (yes I know) as only ever at work or at home. He may or may not come home. I love him and want to fix things.
I can't think clearly, im distressed and any conversation i try to have ends with me in hysterics and coming across crazy. Im just devastated. Im barely coping, my entire body is constantly trembling and my weight has plummeted. Im ill. Any suggestions where's best to seeking help for my emotions please? I don't know if im coming or going.
In normal times im calm, patient and sensible. Please help.

If he feels the way he says , then it's very real for him

Unless what he doesn't like can be fixed, should he come back home, he'll simply leave again

It's rare for a man to leave a marriage without

A. The marriage being hell on earth
B. There being another woman somewhere

I think there are probably many reasons why people leave their marriages, i think the least you should expect though, especially after 27 years is a basic explanation. To just decide one day you don't want it anymore, pack your stuff and leave is just a horrible thing to do to someone.

Hmm housemates is just a strange term to use in that instance, either way the last person you take your frustrations out on is your wife. Maybe he's just decided he want's be on his own or something...it doesn't make much sense and what everyone needs from a breakup is to understand why...it's part of the healing process.

Exactly this i don't know why and how can't give me a real reason.

Definitely not hell on earth! OW more likely but I really don't think so although I've got read many a thread when it crawls out of the woodwork!

@DizziLizzy I think he probably can, he’s either to scared to face it or he’s keeping you hanging in case he wants to walk back in. He owes it to you to be honest and if he can’t do that for you after 27 years then i wouldn’t waste your tears on him, here’s a big hug, don’t blame yourself for any of this, hold your head up, be strong and don’t take any prisoners.

Thank you such kind words. Im thinking about the last few months when he suddenly seemed to check out and become cold and distant and then ranting spiteful speel. I do wonder why im waiting for him but I can't help.how I feel.

There will be a reason why he suddenly changed, after 27 years no one would blame you for feeling the way you do, you can’t help how you feel, all i will say is that your mental health is more important than any man so concentrate on riding this out unless you get some kind of proper explanation for why he decided to turn your world upside down. Grieve it your way but don’t blame yourself, you’ll get past this.

It's so difficult for you. Time will tell re OW.

I do think you'll find, should he return, that everything has changed, there's zero trust and you can't be happy with him any more

🥰❤️
