Middle aged men coming on strong, then backing off. Telling you they love you, then ghosting. Meeting their family, then disappearing.

Talking about pressure, even though they’re the ones who pursued you and you wanted to take it slow.

Please make it make sense? Are they aware how utterly stupid and irrational this all is?

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be in a decent, respectful relationship. However, I have found that several men over the age of about 50 have the emotional depth and maturity as a goldfish. There must be some decent ones out there but they are few and far between
