Getting your head round your kids with OW

Any advice on how to deal with your kids being around the OW?

The OW was a very very close friend of mine who also lived next door so I seen daily and was confiding in her.

My exH and her was having an affair and got caught by her husband. We tried to work it out for a year but he eventually left us and now they are together (so they weren’t just friends eh? which I was gaslighted in to believing in)

I do not miss him at all, she is welcome to him and I’m much happier with him gone. But the kids (15 and 12) being around her I’m finding really hard especially as I know her really well and trying to not let it get me down.

All I an say is, whenever you feel down...

... remember, somewhere they is a person, in bed with your ex thinking they have won the jackpot!!!

Well at those ages your children aren’t daft, even if they haven’t been told directly they can figure it out. They probably aren’t being very pleasant to her (such a shame).

At their age, it’s not likely they’ll grow a close bond, see her as an extra mum etc. how much do the kids know?
