HELP pls i am so so lonely although in a relationship with someone that does not love me at all we have 2 kids but i can’t leave but almost in tears from intense loneliness. The relationship lacks everything and to make matters worse, I do t drive so basically stuck at home and even if I drive, I haven’t any friends at all and I work from home full time going to office 2 times a month.

I which I could find someone to chat to o. The phone for a little bit of flirting chit chat but o don’t know where to look I am so lonely and desperate that I was looking for virtual boyfriend - are there any?
rhisnman am with is not good well I guess that’s because he loves me not so 🤷🏾‍♀️ I had the money o would leave but that’s not the case right now.

What about mum groups, school mums, hobbies, play dates.

lifesabitchslways · 02/09/2026 09:56

@Mysticguru thank you. I have tried the school Mum’s group but not very much luck as they are all of same class ie drive nice cars, seems to have lovely relationships with successful husband/partners, lovely homes and careers. Bottom line is they are busy with their lives and seems to have another inner circle outside the circle I think I am part off. I tried chasing quietly for a while but I have now given up

i dont do sch runs as the kids go on their own and I don’t drive so🤷🏾‍♀️ I observed it seems everyone is got their busy life they are rushing off to or their own group of friends,

Rather than look for people to flirt with you need to changes parts of your life.

  • learn to drive - this sounds like the biggest isolator.
  • are there any local clubs you can join
  • are there some online courses you can do
  • can you do a bit of volunteering

It is all about getting you out of the house and interacting with people.

Women’s Aid are worth contacting and they could talk you through your options. The very last thing you need at present is a virtual bf. Your partner would certainly use that against you.

It does your kids no favours to see you as their mum so unhappy in a loveless relationship. They pick up on all the vibes here, both spoken and unspoken.

Rebuild your life without your partner in it. You can also from that learn how to drive and perhaps get another job that involves you going into the office more often.

Mysticguru · 02/09/2026 14:08

How do you get to the office on those days you go in?

Lmnop22 · 02/09/2026 14:11

I don’t think cheating on your partner is the way forward here - I think getting your ducks in a row and making a plan to leave is the best way forward.

You’ll just make your life harder by introducing a virtual boyfriend to this mix

What’s stopping you from learning to drive?

Have you spoken with your partner about how you feel?

What about clubs to join to meet people?

Speaking to him is not working as there is total lack of respect and 100% gaslighting he never take anything i say seriously, he dismisses everything, he changes the story, he antagonises me, he minimises everything. Silent treatment, he is downstairs till 3am, 6am.
I have caught him cheating in the past and I am sure is up to no good now again.

I need to find the money to drive at 1st it was for medical reasons.

I am going to join the gym

Yeah, sounds like a pretty toxic situation.

Hope you find what you’re looking for and get to a better place.
