How to help me believe he does actually like me!

I know first world problems! I’m FINALLY in a relationship with someone who’s not cheating on me, making me feel like shit and not treating me like shit. Issue is…I’m still overthinking that he can’t possibly like me and must be somehow lying about it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m getting better but god sometimes my head just runs away and then I panic! I think my issue is I hate how I look so wonder how he can like me. I’m not massive but I am overweight for my height and I don’t think that’s helping how I feel. I know I’m the only one that can change that and I’m trying.. but he’s never once mentioned my weight and he’s still all touchy feely in public so clearly doesn’t care but god I wish I could switch my brain off sometimes.
Also don’t think it helps that he works away and with how we have our kids (who haven’t met yet) we see each other once every other week at the minute. When he’s at work he can’t have his phone so I can be 10 hours no contact which when I’m okay I’m fine, but when I’m in my head he’s of course not replying because he’s gone off me 🤣..stupid I know!
anyone have any tips to help before I ruin this relationship??

Get therapy.

Are you actually projecting — do you want him to lose weight?

Think you need therapy tbh. I don’t mean that rudely, I’ve had lots and found it really helpful. It’s not healthy to be so insecure or unhappy with yourself, and it’s probably not ideal to show that to your dc either. I’d concentrate on that before worrying about the relationship. I don’t think any relationship or your mental health can survive if it’s genuinely as bad as you say. Assuming he’s gone off you because he’s not contacted you for 10 hours with good reason is quite extreme. At some point there’s going to be a less good reason and things will really blow up then. The relationship will sort itself out the more secure and happy you are in yourself, if he’s actually a nice guy.

So in person once every 14 days at the moment. Does that work
for you? If not then you may need someone else
